Hello, my name is Lasha Dalton.  I am a proud resident of San Bernardino County. I have worked for local government for over 10 years. I am currently a social worker for San Bernardino County, children and family services. I've been a social worker for over 4 years. I have worked for San Bernardino County for over 10 years. I have to tell you that San Bernardino County, Children and Family services is in crisis.  It is really, really bad. San berdino county is drowning in extremely high case loads. The state of California recommends that social workers have no more than 30 case loads. San Bernardino County  social workers currently have on average. About 60 to over 100 cases per social worker. Children and families are suffering. Children are dying.  It is impossible to provide quality social work with the extremely high caseloads. The children and families deserve better! There is currently a lawsuit against San Bernardino County and a grand jury investigation. Please demand lower caseloads now!
