Dear politicians representing my state and country,

I cannot sit back and ignore what is happening in Gaza. Our country is severely in debt, and the government is continuing to fund the bombing of Palestine using our tax money. Our country needs better healthcare and affordable food and housing, but the politicians do not seem to be focusing on this issue. In addition to this, people are actively working to make homelessness illegal. How can someone make living so expensive that even the middle class can barely make it by, and then make it illegal to be homeless? The politicians that are privileged enough to have never experienced poverty, starvation, or homelessness are inconsiderate to the people that work 9-5 and can barely feed their family. Due to the governments terrible use of money, we keep spiraling further into debt and it is becoming impossible to afford anything as a citizen. On top of this, women's bodily autonomy is being stripped away. Now rape victims, people in poverty, people living in unsafe environments, and even minors as young as six years old cannot receive an abortion. This means that someone who did not consent to sexual acts and was physically assaulted and forced against their will must now hold the responsibility of the child while the perpetrator may never be found or held responsible to help support this child. This is a violation of women's rights and bodily autonomy, and it will not stop there. Some states are working to make it illegal to obtain an abortion even if the mother, child, or both will die in the process of birth. This is counterproductive and will cause so many people to lose their lives. I will not stand for this. Anyone that supports stripping women's rights/safety, ignores the bullying and harassment of students just because of their gender identity or sexuality, turns a blind eye to mass genocide, and does not speak up for the financial crisis in America has the wrong priorities and will not be recieving my vote.
