I have just received 8 texts in 6 min by political organizations. These are so disruptive I can’t get ANYTHING done on my phone. I receive over 20 a day. Thats about 1 every 1/2 hour. They are incredibly disruptive. Worse, there is no way to stop them. They cannot be blocked. A cell phone owner has no choice but to be pummelled by these nuisances. I have no choice on whether to take them or not. That in itself is UnAmerican. New numbers are generated by a computer. The organizations requesting money take no responsibility or have a solution. Nobody else has a solution. THEY NEED TO BE OUTLAWED. This is a flagrant intrusive misuse and abuse of a valuable means of communication. These organizations have abused their opportunity, have not used messaging responsibly and need to lose their priviledge. I have no doubt the return on these annoying, pestering texts is very low. They are probably counterproductive. I know for certain they have dramatically decreased my day to day productivity. I don’t know how this can be good for the country.
