To the Honorable Thad Altman ;
Dear Mr Altman,
The Homeowner's Associations of America are one of the most corrupt organizations in the United States. They excitedly come against homeowners and hope to put liens on your home and take it away. They should never have this kind of power. It is not okay to give these power-hungry people the ability to single out people to bully and harass. This should never be an option. We don't need more homeless people. We don't need to be abused and bullied.
My neighborhood, the Bayhill subdivision of Viera East, has earned the title 'Nazi neighborhood' by the local people because they are so abusive and unethical towards certain people. They use our dues to hire lawyers to persecute us and hire Fairway Management Company to further threaten and intimidate us. Florida has become a very unpleasant state to live in, and it is where I grew up.
The wisest solution would be an executive order, abolishing The homeowners associations of America in our state of Florida, so that we can live in peace in the state of Florida again without HOAs.
At the very least take away both the HOAs ability to put liens on and foreclose/take away homes. Also take away their ability to put fines on people. As it is, they make up anything now to try to embezzle money from hard-working people.
It is not OK to live in fear and under persecution. Take away the Homeowners Association's ability to put liens on houses and fine people; or better yet abolish the HOA altogether.
