A little help?

As I am sure you are aware, public schools in New Jersey are severely underfunded and teachers are underpaid. Due to this, every year, teachers across the state create wishlists in the hopes that others in their community will be willing to donate items off of these wishlists. When items are not donated, New Jersey teachers are spending (on average) more than $470 of their own money on an annual basis in order to provide enough supplies for their classes to buy the items necessary to effectively teach their students, according to a state-by-state analysis of school and staff surveys.
I am writing you today to ask for your assistance in funding the items I need to help my seventh graders learn and grow throughout the year. I hope that you are able to spare a few dollars to help supply our states’ children and teachers with the items needed to be successful learners and educators. I have attached my Amazon wishlist for your reference.

Thank you for your continued support of our education system.
