On this road I started in the eastern centralized community that is now nearly gutted out by the dream of a “promise land”, but the vacant buildings we jumped for play still remain while the families were scattered, perhaps by design. I am left with amazement how my dreams took me high enough to now see what I made it through, how the process can be manipulated, why we are here, who continues the cycle that was shown to be detrimental, when we give all our trust, yet, we end up in the same destruction because it too has no barriers. In the last ten years, its sights have broadened to where I have made my final home, so that is why I will fight like hell because I refuse to keep running from the “hired help”, employed to block those same rights I fought against. Since I have been summoned, trust the facts will remain clear and simple because I have come too far, invested respectfully, so as the only disclaimer; I will continue to apply only the required pressure necessary to stop this disrespect of rights. Nonetheless, I have come too far to allow fear to rule. For even in death, we deserve to be at peace to just be dead free.

However, Today's “auction block platform” appears to have identifiable characteristics that resemble past evils of this country. Unfortunately, now the prepretraitor mirrors the victims that too were once robbed of all its rights/freedom simply because the gate was open. On behalf of the young, I was called upon to tell you it is not fair as I find myself with the ultimate responsibility to raise with no help, while scores like them are unaccounted for. Mentally, I don’t want to fight but to survive I must because in survival mode the options are few as well, “fight or flight” and all us living in this den play a crucial role, believe it or not. When will we stop using the selective application of processes to control “home-grown” neglect created by the very system designed to balance.

Respectfully,

Mary Patterson
