The new laws that New York State is going to pass this week in regards to gun control (making all public places sensitive locations) will eventually be ruled unconstitutional.  In addition, only law-abiding citizens will follow these unnecessary laws.  Since the criminals don't care about the law, they won't follow them.   Thus crime will not be reduced at all, but might be increased, by New York State Politicians contempt for the constitution!

Criminals prefer to commit crimes in gun-free zones, as they are much less likely to get stopped by an armed citizen.
