Dear Ms. Dietrich,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me.  Hearing from passionate individuals like you inspires me every day, and I welcome the opportunity to respond to your letter.

Our country faces many challenges, and the road we will travel together will be one of the most difficult in our history.  Despite these tough times, I have never been more optimistic for the future of America.  I believe we are better positioned than any country in the world to lead in the 21st century not just by the example of our power but by the power of our example.

While we may not always agree on how to solve every issue, I pledge to be a President for all Americans.  I am confident that we can work together to find common ground to make America a more just, prosperous, and secure Nation.

As we move forward to address the complex issues of our time, I encourage you to remain an active participant in helping write the next great chapter of the American story.  We need your courage and dedication at this critical time, and we must meet this moment together as the United States of America.  If we do that, I believe that our best days still lie ahead.

Sincerely,

Mr. President,
I am pleased to see that you take the time to answer Emails and maybe it was by mistake that my email was misread . The issue was not the covid pandemic. I was addressing The Camp Lejuene Justice Act. {Contaminated water ). I am in no way affiliated with the military or a Federal employee, but I worked on the base for many years during this time period. Just to find out that my health and medical needs are no concern. I have called all the numbers that have been provided to me just to end on a dead-end road. No one knows what to do with the Americans that were just Employees or contract work on this base, are health concerns go unlooked at. I have suffered from my illness since 2009 and there has been no one to talk to about this issue or any answers to my questions. I was even told by Mr, Micheal Butter that works in the Senator's office that he sent his thanks for bringing up this issue to him but he would have to do more research on this matter. I am a senior how much longer do I have to wait. while others are already receiving help with their medical needs that had less exposure than I had. I gave my time working on Federal property to do my share to help the Military now I need the same befits they are receiving. Thank you Della

Dear Ms. Dietrich,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me about our economic recovery.

When I was sworn in as President, America was facing a once-in-a-generation economic and jobs crisis brought on by a once-in-a-century public health crisis.  Knowing the unbearable pain and hardship that so many people were facing, I made it my top priority to launch an aggressive vaccination effort and secure immediate relief for families, communities, and small businesses through the American Rescue Plan.  We put money directly into the pockets of the American people; surged funding to state and local budgets to keep vital services running and Americans on the job; lowered health care costs; kept small businesses afloat; provided resources to keep families from going hungry or losing the roof over their heads; ramped up vaccinations to beat the pandemic; and implemented a tax cut for middle-class families—an expansion of what’s known as the Child Tax Credit—that is projected to help cut child poverty nearly in half in America this year.

Thanks to that historic effort, we’ve brought our economy back from brink.  Today, America is on track for the highest economic growth in 40 years, and among the fastest wage growth for working Americans that has ever been recorded.  But to build an economy that works for everyone and gives all Americans a fair opportunity to succeed, we know that there is much more we need to do.  That’s why I’m pursuing my Build Back Better agenda—a once-in-a-generation investment in American communities and the American people.

A bipartisan group of Senators has already come together to move forward on landmark investments in our physical infrastructure.  That agreement will put Americans to work repairing our roads and bridges, bringing high-speed internet to every home, replacing 100 percent of America’s dangerous lead water pipes, strengthening our electric grid to be cleaner and more resilient, and modernizing our public transit and rail systems, ports and airports, and so much more.  It will create millions of good-paying jobs, position America to compete with the world, combat the existential threat of climate change, and win the 21st century.

Now, I’m working with Congress to move forward on the next part of my economic agenda: making long overdue investments in our human infrastructure.  These investments will help ease the personal and financial burdens of child care and elder care—helping seniors live with greater dignity and independence, and ensuring that hardworking caregivers are fully dealt into our economy.  These investments will also help students of all ages become better prepared to seize the opportunities of tomorrow and help our Nation lead the world.

We still have a lot of work to do, but the light ahead is growing brighter and brighter.  I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts with me as we work together to build an economy that grows from the bottom up and the middle out and that works for all Americans.

Sincerely,

To whoever may be able to help me out with this matter,

I am writing to each and every one of you in hope that one of you has an answer to my question. In 1982- 1987 Most of my family members have worked aboard Camp Lejeune. Now many years have passed and we  {Myself and other family members} are now experiencing many of the conditions that are related to drinking and bathing in contaminated water. I and my younger sister worked for two different companies that were not Military or federal affiliated, so no one is willing to tell us or work with us in finding out what we need to do to receive help with our medical bills and receive compensation for our health issues.  We have proof that we worked on Camp Lejuene by Social Security income reports and the company E.I.N numbers. also, there was a labor issue with one of the companies while we were working on the Federal property. We were working on jobs that we had no idea that one day would become a health issue and place our lives in danger, Since we are not Military or worked for the Federal Government then our health is not a concerning issue. Every time I call an office for information I end up on a dead-end road. Our health should be looked at the same way others have been. We were Cilivian employees just doing our jobs, sorry that we have no Federal connection, but we are humans as well as those that were Federal connected in some way and should be compensated just like the Military and Federal Employees are being treated. We pay our fair share in taxes and would have never worked at a job that would end in having health issues later on in our Senior years. We worked for 3 or more years on Federal property. We drank and bathed in the water every day we worked aboard Camp Lejeune. Now we need some help. Someone, please reach out to us with an answer. Thank you for reading my E-mail and look forward to receiving a response from someone. Della and Emilie    ICeeULooking@yahoo.com
