Her offer is 3 to 4 times the punishment of the last 5 cases that she has prosecuted with similar counts! They are as follows: 1. CASE # CR2018-001541-001 agreed plea by Tiffany Brady, 3 years. 2. CASE #. CR 2016-002086-001 agreed plea by Tiffany Brady, 4 years. 3. CASE # CR 2017-112793-001 agreed plea by Tiffany Brady, 4 years. 4. CASE # CR2014-114256–002, CASE #CR2014-114256-001 agreed plea by Tiffany Brady, 3 years. 5. CASE # CR2009-006101-001. agreed plea by Tiffany Brady, Probation only. MATTHEW SCOTT SCHWARTZ. CASE # CR 2019-158691-001 Charges : manslaughter, a class 2 felony, dangerous. Agreed plea by Tiffany Brady 10.5 years-16 years. Tiffany Brady coerced a plea from Matthew Scott Schwartz. She threatened to immediately withdraw the plea and charge him with 2nd degree murder and withdraw the plea 10 1/2 -16 years if he did not take the plea. WOULD ANY OBJECTIVE PERSON LOOK AT THESE 6 CASES AND SAY THAT THIS IS FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT UNDER THE LAW????? As a US Naval Veteran during the Vietnam War, and my wife and are I both retired school teachers of 26 years, we feel that the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is being vindictive, and discriminatory toward our son to show the public that they are now being “TOUGH ON CRIME” for the upcoming election! As teachers, we have taught children to be honest, fair and to treat others like they want themselves to be treated. This philosophy is not being followed by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office!
