I plead with you not to pass school choice. As a 2nd generation homeschooler, my parents fought for the homeschool freedoms that we have now, and homeschooling my children is easier than it ever was for me growing up. I am thankful for everyone who made that possible. If you pass school choice and include homeschoolers, you will be undoing everything we have fought for! We do not want government input, and we know that money always comes with strings. I would rather save my pennies to buy the curriculum I choose for MY children, than to have someone tell me what I can and cannot teach. There are hundreds of homeschoolers leaving California for this very reason. Don't turn our great state into another California.
