I would like to say that I am extremely disappointed in our state's irresponsibility and disregard for safety in the current COVID-19 response – or more accurately, lack thereof. I remain apalled that the legislature voted last year to prevent other government entities from instituting and enforcing important public health rules, and as the situation worsened, you refused to go back on this terrible decision. 

I also recently found out about a large multi-level marketing conference held in Salth Lake City, and I am frustrated that gatherings of this size are being allowed, especially when people often travel from out of state for such events. (Not to mention the exploitative nature of MLM companies to begin with)

We need our representatives to follow public health guidelines AND allow those guidelines to be enforced. I wish everything could just shut down for a while again, but I know that isn't going to happen.  But AT LEAST, mask mandates need to come back, large gatherings need to be STOPPED, and I am also in favor of vaccine mandates for public officials, healthcare workers, and educators. This would significantly reduce the danger to our state's population. As our representative, you need to make that your priority.
