To Whom IT May Concern,

I am the General Manager of a hotel in Andrews Texas. And praise be to God, that I did not have to close my doors like so many of my colleagues around the country had to do.

We are a part of a suffering industry, and I do not feel we are getting the aid and assistance we should be getting.
If any of you travel you rely on my industry, if the Hurricanes take roofs off Houses then the occupants will probably go to a hotel.
we are frontline due to the fact that regardless of the occupation countless people continued to travel during this Pandemic. Which meant they dealt with our staff and we continued to run the risk of getting Covid and spreading it to our staff and families.

Doctors, nurses, police and fire are all  important roles, but even their careers depend on us.  For example any states that are sending firefighters to fight the fires in California, they are probably staying in hotels at some point.

we are an industry many rely on and few thank, but imagine the world If ALL hotels closed, where would that  leave you and your counterparts?
