SBA EDIL TARGETED ADVANCE APPLICATION #3600007565
Withdrawal Reasons:
“The SBA was unable to verify the bank account information that was provided in your application and as a result we have withdrawn your application from active consideration. W-51”
To the SBA Re-Evaluation team,
My name is Jennifer Sinclair and I am reaoching out for help in regards to assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Disaster Assistance for the Target Advance and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
I applied for the EIDL Targeted Advance grant on 5/19/21. I am well qualified for this grant because I have definitely lost more then 50% in income, I only have 1 employee and my business is indeed located in the low-income area in my city in Federal Way, WA. After submitting my tax document and anxiously waiting a week for the results, I finally get an email on 5/26/21 stating they my application has been withdrawn because they could not verify my bank account info. This was heartbreaking because I do have a business bank account and made sure I correctly inputed my account number on my application. It is absolutely not fair that my application is withdrawn for this reason.
I emailed the SBA yesterday 5/27 to see if they could re-evaluate my application and sent them all documents needed to verify my bank account information. I have not heard anything yet and am scared it will be weeks or months before I hear anything back in regards to my “withdrawn” application.
An SBA Loan Officer should of reached out to me directly to verify my bank account before withdrawing my application. This isn’t fair and very discriminating. I am writing to the senators and governor of WA state to please assist me with my application since I have gotten no help at all.
I sincerely appreciate any help and re-evaluation with my application for the SBA EDIL Targeted Advance Grant. God Bless.
Jennifer Sinclair
