It is appalling that the Biden administration still seems determined to undo all President Trump’s achievements, even if it puts American lives at risk. This week, Reuters reported that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has scrapped a policy that only served to make sure our laws are enforced.
On April 28, Reuters reported that as of two weeks ago, the DOJ has dropped Trump’s policy on reducing federal grant funds to so-called “sanctuary cities.” These cities ban their own law enforcement agencies from cooperating with federal immigration authorities, essentially letting illegal immigrants evade enforcement. Last year, after trying to persuade them to enforce the law, President Trump had to use an executive order to cut off hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants to non-compliant cities.
Now, the Biden administration has reversed that policy on the orders of Attorney General Merrick Garland. This means the federal government will restore massive funding to those sanctuary cities that refuse to work with federal agencies to enforce the law.
I take great offense that you are rewarding these “sanctuary cities” with my tax dollars for breaking the law!
I never in my lifetime thought that my government would support anything close to this.
I do not know what part of illegal aliens that you do not comprehend, but if they entered out Country ILLEGALY, they have now rights here except the right to be sent home.
