PLEASE, restart the work of the Advisory Board on Radiation, Worker Health, the Advisory Board on Toxic Substances, and Workers Health. I believe that these Advisory Board are critical to the ongoing improvement and coordination of policies of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Act of 2000, Part B & Part E.

The Advisory Board on Radiation, Workers Health is crucial in that it audits radiation dose reconstructions of former, and current Energy Employees for accuracy, and completeness, adjudicates Special Exposure Cohort petitions. Evaluated petitions cannot move forward without the Advisory Board review, and action.  There are construction workers waiting for a vote from the Advisory Broad, but the Advisory Board has been idled under this administration. and there are several other work sites in limbo, which need attention, investigation as well.

The Advisory Board on Toxic Substances, and Workers Health provides guidance, oversight to the latest medical science related to occupational exposures to chemicals found at DOE designated work sites, that leads to chronic illnesses such as pulmonary, kidney, neurological diseases.

Every Employee deserve to know if they will be compensated for cancers, chronic illnesses potentially caused by workplace exposures for keeping our nation safe, part of that is providing medical benefits to injured Energy Employees. Please restart the legislated work of the Advisory Board on Radiation, Workers Health, the Advisory Board on Toxic Substances, and Workers Health forthwith.
