The militarization of Washington DC by taking over control of the police and through the use of the National Guard is not supported by facts or statistics which show that crime in DC, as well as across the board in the US, is decreasing. This seems to be a blatant attempt to create an atmosphere of fear as  justification for further authoritarian actions by this administration. 

Senators, Representatives, PLEASE take some actions to stop this move towards dictatorship.
