My name is Jipu Miah, known as “Jeep.” I’m a Bengali-American survivor, nonprofit founder, and former engineer who was shot in 2022, left paralyzed with one lung, and survived a six-week coma. That trauma gave me purpose.
I passed the CBP exam (92%), cleared MEPS (Army National Guard, 8 Mile Detroit), and held roles at GM, Chrysler, and Verisign. I’m Schedule A eligible, finishing my Cybersecurity Master’s at UMGC, a school supporting Obama’s Second Chance Pledge. I’ve applied to the White House Internship, and President Trump’s office responded, forwarding my resume.
I overcame domestic violence, cared for a schizophrenic mother and father with Parkinson’s, and helped lift my siblings into pharmacy and engineering careers.
Today I lead UnityForLife, helping veterans and the disabled, in partnership with Numan-Construction.com and state allies. Despite SSDI limitations, I fight for justice, report scams, and never give up.
Let me use my pain to protect others. Grant me a second chance — and I’ll give you a first-class public servant.
