Seeking help with questions concerning the JusticeAact at Camp lejeune NC
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to urgently seek clarity on the compensation process for victims of the contamination at Camp Lejeune. It seems that many are unaware of the complexities involved, or they may be prioritizing a swift resolution over true justice for those affected. Unfortunately, this approach is leaving victims, like me, navigating a complex and unfair landscape. While lawyers may gain from our suffering, we are left fighting for every bit of what is rightfully ours, often hindered by missing medical records that support our claims.
We must establish a path to justice that allows victims to pursue the compensation they deserve. We should not be cornered into settlements when many of us lack ongoing medical documentation or face insurmountable obstacles in filing new claims—claims that simply cannot account for the emotional and physical scars we carry.
Personally, I have endured the heartbreaking loss of several pregnancies, with my first child born with health complications during my time at Camp Lejeune. This experience has robbed me of the large family I once dreamed of having. It is unacceptable that I am now left without the means to fully demonstrate the breadth of my losses, especially as my past medical records have been erased due to the statute of limitations in North Carolina. My attorney has stated that the Navy is compensating for only one medical incident, but I believe the depth of my suffering extends far beyond that.
I urge you to recognize the need for a comprehensive approach that allows victims like me to receive fair compensation for the profound impact we continue to face. I appreciate your immediate attention to this pressing matter and look forward to your guidance.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Della Dietrich email or call 910-467-7536

Dear Ms. Dietrich,
Thank you for contacting me about the Camp Lejeune Justice Act. It is an honor to represent the people of North Carolina. I appreciate the opportunity to hear from you on this issue.
As you know, between the 1950s and 1980s, thousands of Marines, their families, and many civilians living near Camp Lejeune, North Carolina were exposed to drinking water contaminated with industrial solvents, benzene, and other chemicals. Many veterans and their families exposed to these toxic chemicals are now suffering from related adverse health conditions.
