My name is Ben. I’m a father raising boys to respect the Constitution and defend what is right. I’m writing because I believe it’s time to push back against outdated laws that hurt honest Americans, especially the smallest and most vulnerable among us.
My wife is small in stature. Our nearby neighbors are elderly, widowed, live alone, and stand under five feet tall. Even my own mom is just 4 feet 10 inches. These are real people who should be able to defend themselves with firearms that actually fit their size and strength. It makes no sense that they’re forced to use guns with barrels longer than half their body. That does not improve safety. It puts them at a disadvantage.
The same is true for suppressors. In an emergency, no one has time to grab hearing protection. Using a suppressor should not make someone a criminal. It is a basic safety tool.
The Parliamentarian’s decision to block NFA reform is wrong. The NFA is a tax law. Repealing parts of it is clearly about the budget. Please do not let a staff advisor stop the Senate from doing what is right.
Senator, we need you to lead. Ignore the Parliamentarian and help move this bill forward. Our families, our freedoms, and our Constitution depend on it.
