Dear Senator Lindsey Graham ,
I am writing to be sure you know my opinions as your constituent.
The more money and possessions held by a person or a business, the more that entity cost the government. Police, Fire, Emergency services, army, SEC and many more government services to maintain their possessions and wealth. Therefore they should pay higher taxes than the l people with less money or possessions.
The purpose of the government is to provide services that the people cannot get on their own. Protecting us from unfettered corporate greed is one thing we need. Corporations are money making entities, no more no less. They have on soul and are run by people who score well on psychopath tests. Protect us, it is your job.
The minimum wage should be high enough to prevent a single person working 40 hours a week to not be eligible for public assistance. Any employer paying less than this amount is subsidized by the people who pay taxes. Any business that says it can’t pay fair wages isn't really a business, it is a drain on the people.
Balance the budget. Clinton and Gore did it. Trump's disruptive behavior is a waste of money and time.
It seems the republican party is big on talk but lax on work. Roll up your sleeves and get to work.

Dear Mr. Phillips:
Thank you for contacting me regarding minimum wage. I am opposed to increasing the minimum wage because of its negative impacts on jobs and the economy. I appreciate the opportunity to hear from you and will keep your comments in mind as the Senate considers an increase to the federal minimum wage.
