Neighbor,

Georgians who get their health care from Georgia Access are now able to log on to see their monthly premium rate for 2026.

Unfortunately, because of Washington Republicans’ refusal to fund health care in their One Big Beautiful Bill Act, these Georgians will see their 2026 monthly health care premiums double on average.

If you get your health care through Georgia Access (Georgia’s Affordable Care Act Marketplace), CLICK HERE to view your 2026 rates. This does not apply if you get your health care through Medicare, Medicaid, or through your employer.

The devastating health care cuts allowed by DC Republicans’ tax and spending bills are driving up monthly health insurance premiums and causing hospitals to cut services across our state. I’ve championed legislation to make health care more affordable, but my colleagues refuse to come to the table.

Unfortunately, Republicans in Washington have chosen to shut down the government rather than restore funding for middle-class health care tax credits.

Let me be clear: I do not support a government shutdown. That is why I continue to vote for a budget that will reopen the government AND stop these catastrophic premium hikes. I will always put the needs of Georgians above partisan games, and I will continue to fight for your health care in Washington.

While my office is operating with limited capacity, we remain open to hear from Georgians and can still provide limited assistance on urgent federal matters. For help, please contact me here. For more information on how government services are affected, please visit my website here.

Keep the faith,

Dear Senator Ossoff, Senator Warnock, and Congresswoman McBath,

I am writing regarding concerns over the so-called big beautiful bill.  I understand this bill would cut funds for essential programs that help those in need, such as Medicaid and SNAP.  It is unfathomable that a nation with our resources would choose not to help those in need, particularly when the aim is to provide more tax benefits to the most wealthy.  I am also concerned over the massive cuts to environmental protections, climate change initiatives, scientific research, and cancer research.  Additionally, redirecting these funds to further allow ICE and Homeland Security to go after immigrants who are contributing to their workplaces and communities, paying taxes and raising families is abhorrent.

The projected 2.4 trillion dollars that will be added to our already crushing national debt is also a major concern.

I wholeheartedly oppose this bill in its current state.  Please work to create a bill that represents the best of America, not the very worst.
