I noticed you voted "Yea" to the Big Beautiful Bill, and I wanted to ask why. My biggest concern as a young 19-year old is our debt and the deficit. Unfortunately, this bill increases our debt by $5 Trillion and balloons our deficit. I want to be clear with you, I, like most people in this country, want to see this country prosper for centuries to come. But with the way that this country is moving, I find it increasingly difficult to believe that my own kids will be able to grow up in the great United States of America. I really want to know why you signed this bill, a bill that will, in my opinion, lead to the collapse of the United States through the continuation of avoiding our debt. I am disappointed in your decision to vote against the wishes of the American people, we want to see the debt and deficit brought down like Republicans have promised. Our 30-year treasury bonds yields are soaring and are currently above Greece's, a country who has been facing an unbelievable debt crisis. The USA is NOT in a good place to continue spending as we are. You HAVE to do something about this. Stop running my country into the ground with this spending and do something about it. I want my own kids to grow up in a prosperous country but through the signing of this bill and the continuation of our budget spending, it is not a future I believe I will get to see. Please let me know why you voted the way you did, it could certainly change my way of thinking.
