I am asking you to vote NO on AB 1127, AB 1078, AB 1263, and SB 704.
These bills are not about safety. They are about control. They target moral, law-abiding Californians while ignoring criminals who already break the law.
AB 1127 punishes responsible gun owners for what criminals might do. We do not ban cars because of drunk drivers. The attachments it tries to regulate are already illegal under federal law. This is political theater.
AB 1078 is not reform. It is a bait and switch. It tries to sneak around a federal ruling that struck down a similar law. There should be no limit and no time window on how many firearms someone can legally purchase.
AB 1263 criminalizes legal builders, hobbyists, and anyone sharing code or designs. That is a direct attack on free speech and the right to innovate. California has always allowed home-built firearms. This bill turns that history upside down.
SB 704 is laughable. It demands background checks and red tape just to buy a barrel. A barrel is a part, not a gun. Just like suppressors and short-barreled rifles, it is about control not safety.
I live in California. I follow the law. And I know my rights. I vote and I am a proud member of GOA, CRPA, and NAGR. So are my friends and neighbors. We are watching and we will remember this vote.
The midterms are around the corner. Now is your chance to stand with your constituents, not against them.
