I am a social worker for Children and Family Services San Bernardino County.  We are in crisis.  We do not have enough workers to provide the support and resources that our families need.  Workers are leaving due to the high caseload.  Workers have extreme high caseloads due to not enough workers.  The state of California recommends that workers have no more than 20 cases.  The average worker in San Bernardino has 60 - 125 cases.  Workers that truly care about our community are leaving because of the extreme stress.  Children and families are suffering.  Please read the Grand Jury report of San Bernardino CFS 2022.  Please see the class action lawsuit brought against SB by a Better Childhood 2023.  Please help.
