I understand that Long Beach's budget is a financial mess, but the problem is not collecting taxes.  The problem is unchecked government spending.   Please do not raise taxes on the residents.   The best way to control excessive spending is by cutting the budget.  I know it is a difficult decision, but in the long run, it is the best course of action.
My property tax burden is already overly expensive for my budget.  No More Tax Increase for Residents.   Tax increases will affect property values.  Tax increases will tax food off my table.  Tax increases will cause people to put their homes on the market, and move out of Long Beach.
